Nicholas Edwards - CEO

Nicholas has spent over 32 years in the financial markets in investment banking and asset management, and gained considerable experience and expertise with some of the largest and most renowned 'names' in the industry including: James Capel, BZW, Barings, SG Group and Alternative Asset Management. For much of the past 18 years he has had a particular focus on investment fund structures in emerging markets, hedge funds and other alternative asset classes with a bias towards the innovation, design and structuring of numerous bespoke fund strategies. Nicholas has focused on meeting the needs of investors often through the use of sophisticated and sometimes complex asset management techniques having gained invaluable hands-on knowledge of investment management as head of country funds product for SG Group and as an executive director of Charlemagne Capital. He enjoys numerous directorships with various specialist private fund management groups and specialist offshore hedge funds.
In 2000 he financed a newly established trading 'arcade' business which was then successfully sold to Refco. This stimulated intense interest in active trading and automated systematic trading systems; in which he has specialised over the past several years. Nicholas has built a nucleus of relationships with some of the most sophisticated and experienced 'managed futures' teams in the business and developed a very strong stable of service providers.
Over the years Nicholas has been involved with the structuring, launch and sometimes restructuring, of some of the largest offshore emerging market funds in the world. More recently Nicholas has been at the forefront of the development of a new advisory business employing powerful financial modelling combined with proven and often elementary 'tools' to secure 100% Capital Guarantee over structures to provide investors with the ability to preserve wealth in today's difficult financial climate.
Nicholas has over 25 years of experience of advising investors in the Middle East. His knowledge, understanding and expertise in advising Islamic investors has encouraged him to design and structure a unique capital guaranteed investment fund structure which he has combined with the long term attractions of the UK property market, an asset class that is well understood and widely in demand in difficult and uncertain times. Innovation is always to the fore and Nicholas has combined only the 'best of breed' of service providers and active management to deliver a remarkable and exciting new vehicle for Islamic and non-Islamic investors alike.
New product development, building and maintaining client relationships and strategic core services are carefully balanced with active portfolio management responsibilities.
Peter-Jon Halmshaw - Head of Marketing and Sales

Peter's role at A2ML is to manage the Distribution, Marketing and Sales efforts of the firm's Megalio Fund range.
Peter currently has 17 years experience working within the financial sector, including trading, analysis, marketing and sales.
As Head of Marketing and Sales Peter works closely with the firm's CEO Nicholas
Edwards as well as our cap intro and marketing agents to develop strategies that will appeal to today demanding investors who require exacting standards. Peter is also responsible for ensuring that our Company does all that it can to maximize investors understanding of the various trading strategies that we offer through managed accounts and Funds alike - within the A2ML Megalio range.
Prior to joining A2ML in early 2010, Peter was Head of the Fund Raising Group at Sturgeon Ventures LLP. Previously he spent four years UK equity trading/Market-Making FTSE100 stocks including ADR arbitrage at Salomon Brothers International UK before creating and heading up his own specialist marketing company whose focus for nine years was institutional investment managers, traditional portfolio managers and hedge fund managers.
